As the first and last point of call the Front of House is a key employee for driving business by up selling retail and services that are being booked. Utilization of the whole appointment system and of individual stylist columns therefore means maximization stylist resource and salon turnover.
The ideal receptionist needs to represent the P&J Palmer brand values, quality, passion, creativity and professionalism in all aspects of behavior, for example dress language and attitude at work. Receptionist must be highly diplomatic, discrete and trustworthy with strong sale techniques and must be a positive team player.

Job purpose:
Assist and learn from stylists how to provide P&J Palmer hairdressing services to valued clientele, support other salon members with their duties at the same time as achieving their Apprenticeship to include Key Skills and N.V.Q. Level 2 in Hairdressing.
An ideal assistant does not require previous experience within a salon environment. They must be able to maintain the P&J Palmer brand principles when performing any service in the absence of a stylist for example shampooing, head massage, promoting backwash products. Their personality must also reflect the P&J Palmer brand showing passion, creativity and quality to become leaders within hair fashion world.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Courses offered within the Company NVQ levels and completing all project work and test set by assessors by agreed timeframe
